Module 1: Self-Reflection, Identity & How to Address Hate
Being a Muslim youth in a Canadian society, there is often confusion and frustration about how to bridge these identities. This module aims to strengthen the foundation of identity that many youths may be struggling with. This module will engage individuals to reflect on social location and identity, facilitate exercises to build confidence and self-esteem, inform about how to address hate/online hate and Islamophobia, and empower youth to be confident in their Canadian Muslim identity.
This workshop is open to youth aged 15 to 20. It will become available for other age groups in the upcoming months.
