For children aged 4 to 10

What is Story Time?

Story Time with Sr. Sana is a storytelling series where children (aged 4 - 10) will hear exciting and meaningful tales with Muslim protagonists in English & French. At the end of each reading there will be a live Q & A session where children will have the opportunity to stretch their thinking.  Parents can join in alongside their children to learn reading comprehension strategies. ​

Which book is being read?

At this Story Time, Sister Sana will be reading "Ilyas & Duck: Ramadan Joy" by Omar Khawaja. The perfect book for children to get excited and encouraged for Ramadan.

Note: A copy of the book is not required for Story Time. Participants will be able to follow along with Sister Sana online. 

Who is the presenter? 

Sister Sana is an experienced and licensed educator, writer, orator and mother of two from Markham. Being fluent in French and English, she will bring fantastic dual language tales for you!
